The face behind Tiny Village.
Hi, my name is Johanna. I grew up in Germany but the travel bug got me early on. This is why I first became an Au Pair in Australia and then moved to the Netherlands to get my bachelor’s and then my master’s degree in Psychology. Throughout my studies, I learned a lot about mental health, physical health, and childhood development. While I was studying, I was always working as a babysitter part-time and at a summer camp during my school breaks.
When I was done with my master’s in 2021, I knew that I wanted to keep working with kids and families. I became a full-time nanny and got my sleep coaching certification. Since then, I have been able to help lots of families navigate sleep, postpartum, and the everyday craziness of juggling family life.
Inspired by my littlest nanny kids (some of whom I have had the pleasure to meet straight out of the hospital), I decided to expand my knowledge and become a Newborn Care Specialist and Postpartum Doula.
I aspire to become a part of your tiny village whether that’s by providing care for your children, giving you advice or just listening - I am here for you!
